Netflix now houses several fictional movies and documentaries that depict the lives of members of the LGBTQ+ community of all ages. While LGBTQ+ titles have been lacking over the years, that's beginning to change. Updated on June 1st, 2022 by Danielle Bruncati: June 1st marks the start of yet another Pride month which means its the perfect time to celebrate with some amazing LGBTQ+ movies. There are definitely some great LGBTQ+ movies to watch on Netflix during Pride month this June. Johnson and the Stonewall Riots and beloved comedian Tig Notaro. They have also produced several documentaries about the LGBTQ+ community that delve into lives and events such as the prominent figure Marsha P. Netflix and other streaming services are finally starting to make more LGBTQ+ movies available and even producing stories with LGBTQ+ stories at the center. Netflix has romantic comedies that focus on LGBTQ+ characters like Alex Strangelove and The Half of Itas well as several more dramatic yet romantic movies like A Single Man and Handsome Devil.
